I'm in a bit of a dilemma, what did your career path look like as a TA professional, or someone who moved from TA into something else? [N/A]

Off-Topic / Other

Hi guys! Okay so, I was offered a HR Generalist role for $72,500 and accepted. Within the first two weeks of starting this new job, I will be interviewing with Gallup for the third time. I'm afraid I might be offered a position, that I'm not very interested in. The position is Talent Analyst (given, it's not a traditional TA role - and is more consulting focused, but I think I can spin it long-term). However, the pay is $80k, it's 20 minutes closer to my house, etc.

I also started thinking about what my path would even look like long-term, especially because it feels like generalist would give me many more opportunities to develop and move into various positions.

Now I'm a bit worried about this, and wondering what everyone's thoughts are and what your guys' career progression/paths looked like if you were or are specialized in TA.

Thank you!!! 😭
