Problem with Dell Inspiron 14 7430 2-in-1

Hello, I've got the problem with my laptop. The problem is I can't charge it, because when I plug the charger the diode on the power supply goes out and the laptop is not charging. Because it's like 2 months after the warranty I sent it to the service in my area. They said it's probably the processor's fault and the repair won't be worth it. In my opinion it can't be processor's fault, because the laptop was still working after I recognized the problem with charging and I even wrote exam on it. Can anyone help me out with this issue. I don't want to buy a new device, because before the issue I was very happy with it.
