American Style Chai Latte Improvements
Ever since the [Stash betrayal post](https://www.reddit.com/r/tea/comments/1r6w94z/stash\_has\_betrayed\_me/) blew up, I've been messing around with the American style chai latte recipe I've been using for years. It's creamer heavy, I love how it tastes, and my friend's love how it smells, but I’m looking to experiment.
- 1–2 bags of Stash Tea Double Spice Chai Black Tea
- 1 cup boiling water, steeped 5–10 minutes
- ~1/3 cup hazelnut creamer (sugar free)
- 1 tbsp vanilla creamer (sugar free)
- Honey to taste (the darker the better)
I really just eyeball the creamer so the amount varies a lot day to day. It comes out rich and hot. It's on the sweet side, but the honey is the only real sugar in it. I’m thinking to make it spicier with added cinnamon, and other spices, like from the [faq](https://imgur.com/a/authentic-indian-chai-80QQd#0), or try new variations of my sweet version.
Curious what you’d change or add.
