Need suggestions for 20k

My aniversary was on 20th Jan and I have kept 20k to buy something in gold for my wife, but I got hospitalized and no celebration was possible.

Later my wife suggested to keep 20k in mf for 3 months and gift her something nice in October for her birthday.

I need suggestions where to invest 20k for short term
