Really interested in joining the Canadian Military.
I 36(M) am really interested in joining the C.A.F. I've worked blue collar my whole life & in all honesty I'm just tired of it, the same thing everyday i feel like i am in the Truman show. I've wanted to join for the past decade but when i first started looking into it i ended up having a kid, stopped school and started working, now I'm really kickin myself in the ass over it.
I've discussed everything with my partner, she has my back 100% were financially stable so me leaving wont be a issue. My issue is my age. I'm quite athletic, never been over weight, work out daily. But from what i see they aim to recruit younger. I know I'm getting up there in age but i don't really feel 36 if that makes sense. Lol
Is there anyone who has experience with this? Or is anyone able to actually give me some insight on how things go? I literally just set up a meeting this morning with a recruiter for next week (waiting to hear back). But i wanna get a little bit of the worlds POV on things before i walk in to the office.
Thanks in advance, very much appreciated.
