Moving to Princeton

Does anyone have any intel regarding living in the Princeton area. My husband accepted a job there so we are relocating from the west coast. Is living in town a pipe dream? What are good areas in the surrounding towns that are cute and have amenities and walkability?

Do you need a garage there with the snow?

Is it possible to rent a cute small house in town or is it going to be super $$$$.
