Aberration base spots for mid game player

Im playing aberration on solo for the first time (ASA) and was wondering what spots are good to plant a permanent or semi permanent base. I've been living between blue and green zone and the amount of creatures I have is starting to become an issue. I'd like spots with either a lot of space, or close to metal/crystal spawns. Being safe would be cool but it doesn't need to be.
