Is there an option to move "smoothly" with the PS Move controllers in Doom VFR?

I've seen gameplay videos of movement in Doom VFR and there seems to be a "point and click" for movement. Is there a way to move without "pointing and clicking" in in this game? I've tried getting a Playstation Aim controller but the one I bought recently was filthy and unusable.
