Hi all,

I had gastroenteritis in July that kickstarted a slew of issues. Since then, I’ve dealt with GERD, LPR, rotating stomach pain (LUQ, MUQ, RUQ), and my biggest symptom, gas (mainly burping). The rotating pain has lessened and is now mainly MUQ, which feels like pressure and putrid nausea localized to that spot.

My doctor pushed off referring me to GI for so long, I eventually developed POTS, which I assume is from the amount of stress my GI issues have put on my body 🙃

Finally went to GI, they did an upper endoscopy, normal except mild gastritis at the entrance to the small intestine.

Just did a HIDA scan, came back at 41%. During CCK, I had pressure in RUQ and back pain right under the gallbladder, which I didn’t usually get with my day to day symptoms.

GI is referring me to a surgeon to consider gallbladder removal. I’m nervous to take it out if it’s not the cause since I don’t have the textbook symptoms of pain after eating fat/pain only in RUQ.

Thoughts?
