Sync 3.4 —> 4 is a decent jump!

Finally completed my Sync 4 Upgrade after about 3 weeks of troubleshooting!

I purchased the APIM, 12” Transit screen and LVDS cable on eBay and sync 4 harness from OEMplus. The LVDS was a cheap knock off that was not allowing communication from the APIM to the display. I bought an extra APIM and display thinking those were the issue but after getting a LVDS from OEMplus everything worked.

Ended up being a little more than my initial spend but still about $500 cheaper than buying a plug and play kit. If the first display I bought was in better condition it would be about $120 cheaper.
