Transcendence or Solidaritet?

Is there some kind of advantage to saving the SEAF on Solidaritet or should I being in Transcendence. In the companion app it looks like we losing progress on Transcendence but making progress on Solidaritet. Will taking Solidaritet give us some kind of reinforcement or weaken the bots in some way? It kinda feels like the devs are trying to guide us to Solidaritet. If so why would they do that if there is no benefit for us in it?
