why do parents get rage bait themselves like omg

I’m away at uni which tbh is really only an 1hr 30mins away.

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t do too much crazy stuff. I barely go out and if I am out it’s going to a coffee shop or having dinner with friends.

Yesterday I was at the library late studying for 2 exams (1 of them is spilt over two days)

All I do is study and my mom is upset I’m out late. Keep in mind that I’m not doing drugs, I’m studying with my friend.

She appears to have a gripe with the fact I stay out late. I am an adult I can go home when I like. I also told her that I’m gonna go home once I’m done with this assignment. It’s like she ignored it.

She thinks I’m just having fun the fun the whole time.

I understand she may be worried for my safety but seriously do you think I’m enjoying myself studying 24/7?

Do you think I also need the added stressor of my mom being angry with me bc I’m at the library late?

I simply have too much to do that argue with her.
