Are CV Axles covered in the 60k mile powertrain warranty?
Seems like the Mavericks have CV axles fail at a higher rate than most vehicles, and when they do go they go decently early. Is the CV axle a part of the standard powertrain warranty? Or would it only be included in the 36k bumper to bumper part of the standard warranty?
Trying to decide if I should get granger warranty to for premium care for 7 years/100k miles for 2 grand, or just have the base included warranty from dealership of 36k bumper to bumper, 60k drivetrain, 100k hybrid parts
I can do some basic stuff on my own so not like I'd need to use warranty for every little thing, but axels and suspension work is such a pain since I don't have a lift.
If I do do extended warranty, $200 deductible 7 year 100k for $1920, or 8 year 125k for $3110? 15-16k miles a year driving is what I'm expecting.
