I think I like my guy best friend

Hey! I have this guy best friend, who is an INFP. I have some kind of romantic feelings for, but I'm not sure if I should chase after him or just be friends with him...

We text every day, sometimes we call and play games together, same beliefs and values, and my friends say we look good together and have some sort of tension between us. But he did reject a few girls before, so I'm kind of afraid to do anything.

Any advice to clarify what we are?? Messaging me privately also works.
