*POST REMOVAL: Understand that all posts are instantly removed into a queue to await mod approval. Please allow 24 hours, though usually it is much less. Your post will either be approved, or you will receive a message explaining why it was rejected or with instructions on how to fix and repost. Some automatic post removals send no message such as an account being too young, or posts with keywords the AutoModerator is set to automatically remove. Reddit Admin sometimes removes posts with no explanation (we have no control over this).*

**RULE #1**: **Use Astro-Seek. com for charts (free). Make your chart in the Whole Sign house system.**

* Access house system options via the small link just below where you enter your birth data (also below your displayed chart). Select the one named exactly "Whole Sign", not any of the others (full instructions at bottom of this post).
* Astro. com is ok also only if you use the *Anglo With Zodiac* option in the *Chart Drawing Style* menu on the Extended Chart Selection page.
* Use only Astro-Seek for biwheels. All planets' degrees should be displayed. These biwheels display the aspects between the two wheels; astro. com's biwheels do not.
* If mentioning your chart, include it. No lists/tables without the round chart. Include house cusp degree numbers.
* No cropped bits of a chart. Post the full chart.
* State source of birth time.
* Horary charts require the Regiomontanus house system.
* We are strictly Western/Tropical here. No Vedic, no sidereal.

Charts not allowed: AstroFuture app, AstroMatrix app, Astro-Charts.com, Astrotheme.com, CafeAstrology.com, Chani app, CoStar app, Time Nomad, Time Passages or others.

**RULE #2**: **Charts for transits, solar returns, annual profections, progressions.**

For these & any time-based post (such as “why is this happening now”), you need to make a natal + transit, or natal + solar return or natal + progression chart . Use only Astro-Seek.com for biwheels as this will show the actual transiting aspects well (astro.com’s biwheels to not display transit aspects). Please also post your normal natal chart as well. For Profections, you must make your chart in the Whole Sign house system.

**RULE #3**: **Post question must be specific. Don't ask general, vague, forecast or full reading questions.**

Ask one specific question about one planet, aspect, Aspect Pattern, house, transit or area of life. No broad/vague questions. Put question in title. Relationships: no when/who/how. Explain your patterns so we can identify the problems in your chart & how to heal. This is not a place for therapy questions. No career, destiny, life purpose,"tell me what you think", "what's good/bad", "what stands out", "big 3", wealth/fame, forecasts/predictions. This is not a place for any other system such as tarot, numerology, manifestation, etc. We don’t accept posts about death.

We can’t do Saturn Return (a 2.5 year process), Solar Return (a full year), or Annual Profection (a full year) general readings. You must ask just one specific question such as 1 transit aspect during any of these processes. Example: in a Saturn Return you could ask about transiting saturn conjunct your moon. Or for a Profection, you could ask about a specific transit, or things like how to know your Lord of the Year and how to use it.

**RULE #4: No posts of/about charts of others (even if adult), nor about children. No synastry or composite posts.**

You may only post your own chart. You must also be 18 to post here. No posts involving other's charts, whether the actual chart, or just mentioning their placements. You may not post about specific relationships/people.

Posting the chart of a minor will result in a ban. Read this mod post: [https://www.reddit.com/r/AskAstrologers/comments/1do9oh1/users\_who\_post\_childrens\_charts\_will\_be\_banned/](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskAstrologers/comments/1do9oh1/users_who_post_childrens_charts_will_be_banned/)

**RULE #5: Don't DM our members for readings. Don't ask for or offer referrals or paid readings in comments or posts.**

Do not DM our members to ask for readings or further help. Do not try to make arrangements for a paid reading in comments or posts. Ask any questions you have in your comment thread. We have a huge issue losing good helpers because they are being pestered by other members if they comment to help an OP. We also have problems with scammers in DMs. Please report any DMs that are suspicious.

**RULE #6: Don't offer your services or readings, even if for free.**

Don’t offer your services or free readings in comments or posts. Advertising your services is not allowed. This includes linking your site on your comment or post and suggesting an OP or commenter DM you for more help. If you offer services (free or not), your post will be removed. Do not use this subreddit to solicit clients or subscribers, including via DM. Offenders will be banned.

**RULE #7: Use your best judgement, taking any advice at your own risk.**

The advice of a stranger on the internet is never a substitute for that of a trained professional. Please take all advice with a grain of salt, and try not to make big decisions based on information given on this subreddit. While we strive for high quality content, there's never a guarantee.

**RULE #8: Don't be a jerk.**

Please be civil and respectful in all interactions. Be constructive in your interpretations and advice, or in how you receive interpretations and advice. We have a zero-tolerance policy for bad behavior. You will be banned without warning. Do not use this forum or people's chart posts to argue the validity of astrology at large.
