Background Check vs Final Decision Timeline

Hi everyone, a bit confused about the timelines.

I applied on May 29th and, as seen below, the background check has not been completed still. I have seen people have their background check completed in May and have their final decision in February (months and months in between the two). Does that mean that when I have the background check completed of my application I will have to wait another 6+ months to get the final decision?
