Successful Belly piercing after a Tummy Tuck

Hey. I am several years post-op and I always wanted to get my belly button pierced. I was told by a few piercers that they don't do piercings on tummy tuck belly due to the high chance of rejection. Is there anyone who has had a successful piercing that didn't reject after having a tummy tuck? If so can I see pictures? I just want to know if its an option of if I should just forget wanting to do it
