First time blood donor after binge watching season one

I've only watched season one so far. It's emotionally very difficult to watch when you've had loved ones in some of the situations the show portrays.

However! After watching the episode where the doctors were donating blood while working, I thought geez, I bet I can do this despite my life-long fear of needles and stellar ability to have a vasovagal reaction in a wide variety of settings. I made an appointment, I kept the appointment, I almost passed out, and I completed my donation.
