Need to override ownership of family dog to save it’s life
LOCATION: Pennsylvania
My gf’s grandma is 89 and in so many words, doesn’t provide the senior family dog with the necessary care to sustain it’s life, she does the opposite in fact by giving her table scraps that includes fat which almost killed the dog (it can cause pancreatitis and lead to death especially in older dogs), not watching her properly which leads to her getting into and eating things she shouldn’t, can’t take her outside to potty, etc. The dog is currently licensed in her name but I’ve read I can get her chipped because it’s a stronger form of ID and then use that to get the license put in my name. I also have vet records I paid and food receipts for years. Can I do this?
TLDR: Can I override gf’s grandma’s license ownership of dog by getting her chipped?
