Are they all like this?
I bought a second hand j7+ for an absolute steal, and when it works it is a beautiful thing.
But the problem is, it hardly works. Constant error 21, error 15, always having to remove battery, or factory reset, or reboot. Sometimes I'll get a good run out of it for like a week where it completes jobs, then it'll get stuck and the endless cascade of errors will begin anew. Reset. Remap. Still no good.
I am thinking of replacing it, possibly with a manufacturer refurbished J5 combo I see is available, but before I do, I have to ask... are they all like this? Is it the case for everyone that they probably spend as much time dealing with errors as they would using, say, a stick vacuum?
I love it when it works, but I wonder whether this constant debugging is the reason more people don't have a robot vacuum...
Or is it just cos I got mine cheap and second hand and possibly outdated model?
Some other quick points: the iRobot home app is so bad (maybe only on Android?) And the irobot website is also terrible, which just makes me think bugginess is part of the product.
