Hi everyone,

I’m the developer of **Juke**, a game recording tool built specifically for macOS. Something like this doesn't even exist for Mac until now, so I made it.

Juke automatically detects when you’re in a game (only League of Legends *for now*) and uses Riot's live APIs to map every kill, assist, and death directly onto a timeline.

This dramatically simplifies the flow of reviewing one's gameplay/clipping cool plays. Just click on the marker, and you're at the event!

**Some of my favorite features:**

* **Clip Mode:** Trim highlights directly in the app! No need for an external editor.
* **Export to Discord:** One-click compression to \~10MB so you can upload highlights without hitting Discord's file size limits.
* **Storage Saver Mode:** If you’re low on disk space, this makes the recording look like total garbage (technical term), but drops the VOD size to \~350MB so your SSD doesn't explode, or whatever happens when it gets full.
* **Native Performance:** Zero OBS dependency and no Electron, written entirely in Swift + uses Apple's media engine. **I drop literally 0 FPS on my M3 Pro** while recording League.

There's also themes, **auto updates**, auto deletion for VODs with a bunch of parameters than can be custom set, and an in game overlay showing realtime metrics! (as a POC for what can be done)

**Pricing:**

* 7-day free trial, **no card required**
* **$3/mo** for lifetime updates (early bird pricing ,,, this will go up in the future)
* Or $25 one-time for a Major Version license

**What’s Next?**

WoW combat log integration is in testing now. I have ideas for lots of stuff. I wrote all about it on my [blog](https://flimflam.dev/blog/juke-the-road-ahead).

**AI Disclaimer:** Human validated/code completion. I use AI as a tool, but every single line is manually reviewed and logic checked to ensure it meets my (and your!) standards. :)

🎁 **Comment a feature you'd love to see to enter the giveaway!** (will pull the winner in under 48hrs)
