AF 858 Anniversary Natural vs Maduro
I received a couple of cigars in a recent shipment and had an unexpected experience so wanted to see if anyone else has noticed something similar.
I enjoy most Arturo Fuente cigars so was looking forward to these. The last couple of days have been unseasonably mild so yesterday I tried the 858 Anniversary Maduro. I really enjoyed it. Deep rich notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and maybe a little bit of cream thrown in. Exactly the profile I usually enjoy. So today I tried the Natural. My expectation was a lighter, more mellow taste profile and that was exactly what it was...but not long into the middle third I started to get a real buzz which surprised me. A bit farther in and it's stronger than I care for in the middle of the day.
Has anyone experienced similar? My expectation was the Natural would be milder not only in flavor but in strength but that was not the case. I'm still feeling a bit of the after effects a couple of hours later.
