Are Kiwis still obsessed with Tim Tams?

When I lived there 8 years ago I think people used to use them as currency. I was told so many times “you’ve got to try these”.

They are nice. We call them Penguin bars where I’m from. My great grandmother used to bring them to us when we were kids
