[PC] [1995-2000] CD-ROM gloomy point and click kid's game

I've been trying to remember this game for literal years, I think it was the first game we had on PC in my house. I was a child and it was in the late 90's, so my memory may be hazy.

I remember it being a first person point and click mechanic, navigating a house and its surroundings, with a young boy protagonist (dark hair, may have worn a hat) that spoke to you. I believe the art was quite gloomy, or at least that dark colour pallet has stuck with me as I try and remember it and I think the game was set predominantly at night, or at least felt like it. The house was important and I think you had to find things throughout it and its surroundings with puzzle elements.

I think there were more characters to interact with, but I can't seem to think of anything beyond it having a creepy vibe.

This is a bit of a long shot, I'm just so curious about it as I've never seen it since.
