I'm Not Clever

I've been working on this musical for a decade but this one song called Osmotic Pressure breaks me and I'm not sure if I even want it in there. The lyrics are "I really wish I had something more to say but I'm not clever. You go and tell me all that is on your mind osmotic pressure. Everything you say is so flawed and untrue, but you're stuck in your decisions and your own point of views. I really wish I had something more to say but I'm not clever." It's about more family digging in their heels about Trump. Maybe I'm not the most intelligent, but I thought I at least knew right and wrong. Nothing feels right anymore. How do we keep from feeling overwhelm when even your art or what you are making just adds to the overwhelming feelings?
