MSW Options + Aspiring Professor/Instructor
Hi folks!
I have a BSW and a Master's in Public Policy - since doing my undergrad, I've always wanted to try teaching social work courses as I love teaching and learning alongside folks (all fears about AI and the future of universities aside lol). I'm interested in pursuing my MSW to help with this route, as I know many teaching positions require an MSW or higher.
I'm wondering if folks have gotten their MSWs and ended up teaching? Are there programs that have more TAs/teaching assistantships built into them - I know this could also vary greatly based on funding, etc. Would love to hear peoples' experiences!
