Question regarding CC classes

Hi, so I've heard for premed its not a good idea when you're at a 4 year college to take major requirement classes at community college because it looks like you're "taking the easy way out". I'm currently taking electrical engineering hoping to go into patent law, and want to take community college classes for major requirements. Do law school admissions actually care about this kind of thing? What have you guys heard and what do you guys think? Thank you in advance!
