12-Year Apple User Thinking of Switching to Samsung – Anyone Else Feeling This?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been an Apple user for the past 12 years. iPhone, ecosystem, the whole thing. I’ve always appreciated the smooth integration, the reliability, and honestly the familiarity of it all.
But lately… I’ve been seriously thinking about switching. Specifically, I’m considering moving to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra when it comes out.
I never thought I’d even consider leaving the Apple ecosystem. It’s comfortable. It works. It’s predictable. But recently I’ve felt like things have become a bit too incremental. Not bad — just not exciting anymore. Meanwhile, Samsung’s Ultra line keeps pushing hardware boundaries, offering more customization, and generally feeling a bit more… bold.
I’m not here to start a war — I genuinely respect both brands. I’m just at a point where I’m wondering if I’ve stayed with Apple mostly out of habit rather than actual preference.
So I’m curious:
Are there any other long-time Apple users here who’ve been quietly thinking about switching to Samsung (or Android in general) for a while now… but haven’t actually done it?
If so, what’s holding you back? The ecosystem? iMessage? Apple Watch? Camera? Just fear of change?
Would love to hear honest experiences — especially from people who actually made the jump.
Thanks in advance 🙌
