He’s in a relationship :(

Developed a huge crush on a guy in my master’s program over the past 3 (?) months. I thought I had a good shot with him but just learned he has a long distance girlfriend and sent her flowers for Valentine’s Day. I didn’t react in the moment but I started sobbing on the way home. At least I never told him :( (although I’m pretty sure he knew since I was always so flustered around him).

We have our entire schedule in common so I see him all the time. He’s really nice (to everyone) and we’re friends so it’d be weird if I started avoiding him since we say hi to each other everyday.
