LE worth trying as of Feb 2026?

Looking for ways to enjoy ARPGs during off seasons from PoE or if I don't have the time to invest in the grind. Seems like there's been a lot of heat over this game for the past few months for various reasons (paid DLCs, bugs, slow with updates/seasons, etc). Does the game feel like it's worth buying for the time spent now and what it will become in over the next few months?
