Axl's album cover sketch (and Frankie's reaction to it)
So in S3, E5 "The Test", when his mother thinks he is studying and sees that Axl has been drawing, she explodes verbally about him not preparing for the exam. However, she does not even acknowledge the amazing talent that it took for this average teen to create the picture of the girl and guy. The drawing is beyond good (not sure what the prop person was thinking, instead of using something that looks like Axl would've doodle) ... and in reality I figure Frankie would stop dead in her tracks and say "Oh my gosh, you can DRAW??!? You have talent. Why didn't you tell us that you could do something good??" etc. I'm just saying that the writer missed an opportunity to possibly take the character in a totally different direction in life. Of course, for your average Joe Lunchbox television viewer, this would not have been as cool as football. But, really, that sketch was way too good for this episode. 😆
