Missing my Ramadan days when I was a teen 💔

Can’t fall asleep, I remember when I was a teen Ramadan used to hit differently. We used to prepare everything our home, our Quran center, and even ourselves for leading taraweeh. I remember how our Sheikh (teacher) used to ask us random questions from the Quran and we used to recite after him 😭. I remember the late nights we used to eat out in the markets.

The most memorable memories are those with my family. We used to come from taraweeh in our car and the radio always had Quran on it and the night drives hit differently. The last 10 days were really fun and exhausting and then the night of Eid 😭.

Now that I’m an adult things are so much different, family’s away for Ramadan things are just different 😂. Even changed the neighborhood where I lived. Ahhh this is just hard to understand 😭 🤣.
