I just slept 19 hours and still feel groggy
I don't really know what to do about this, tbh. Last night I went to a session with a client and sat down on the couch, and just about immediately passed out. I canceled the session and it was a real fight not to fall asleep at the wheel. I came home, laid down on the bed without even undressing, and passed completely out at 7:30. Woke about 2:30 am, went and took my meds and brushed my teeth etc, then passed back out until about 2:30 pm. I am still fighting an overwhelming urge to sleep and am very groggy.
It's the first time I've ever slept this long. I have sleep apnea but sleep with a CPAP. I do have two part-time jobs and am in a master's program, recently had a bedbug infestation treated in my house which has necessitated a lot of cleaning, and have generally been stressed. I have been sleeping fine, though, except for the day before yesterday which is part of what prompted this. I have an appointment with my doc for next week and I'm going to bring this up to her, but I am curious what might have caused such an excessive need for sleep.
