I want to make a french cover of ReoNa 『生命線』(seimeisen or life line in english) and need help

OK, so im french and im trying to make a french cover of seimeisen from the game tsukihime, except its my first time doing something even close to that, so if anyone who is french or know who to speak it please help me or give me advice. Every time i try to translate i end with a more literal translation that i adjust to have the good number of syllable, but it feel horrible to sing. I tried getting help online but i could only get people telling to use AI. For example the first sentance of the song is : tenohira ni kizamareteru wich mean engraved on palm a cover i found translate it to I gently touch the palms of my open hands and i traduce it to touchant doucement la paume de mes mains and anyone who know the song can hear that it dont sound good.

So please if anyone can help me or give me advice ?
