Mt Etna in 1 partial day??

Hi! I have a work trip to Catania coming up and only one day on each side of the work meetings. I will have a rental car. Will that be enough time to get out (and up) to visit Etna? Recommendations (also non-Etna related) welcome. Fit, seasoned hiker but not looking to risk injury during work travel. Tia!
