Arbitrage?

Hey guys,

I'm hoping to get some opinions on this. A while back I learned about a tactic called lead gen arbitrage. Basically you find an offer (cpa, cpl, etc...) then you find someone with an audience (email list, social following, youtube channel etc.) Then you get your affiliate link and have them promote it to their audience. Then you pay them the commission, minus a cut you keep for yourself. That's the basic gist of it - using other people's audiences to get conversions.

Obviously building your own brand is better in the long run, but I like the quick and scrappy nature of this arbitrage model. Do you think this model would still work in today's landscape?

How would you go about tracking traffic & conversions correctly? Would cpvlab work for this? Ideally I'd like to give the person I'm working with a way to view their stats and to pay them easily. How would that work if I'm running offers from various networks?

Extending beyond this a little bit farther, I could see becoming somewhat of a partner to people who are creating content but don't want to hunt down good offers to promote - sort of a concierge to help them monetize.

I'd love to hear any thoughts or experiences with doing this type of model. Thanks!
