Any news on Lidar?

I got my email from Volvo asking how things are going now that we're reaching a year with our EX90. There have been some annoying bugs but generally it's been ok. The big thing I'm frustrated about is the Lidar situation.

I think we learned around November that Volvo was ending its relationship with Luminar. I think we've seen that new models don't have Lidar. But I don't think there's been any official word about what's going to happen with Lidar on the cars that already have it?

I'm pretty confident that they've given up on it...surely they won't develop software and support Lidar if they're cutting it from future models. I also think it's pretty clear that they were overambitious and just don't have the software development capabilities they needed to make Lidar (and other aspects of the car) work properly.

But it's pretty wild that they still haven't officially announced anything yet. Or have I missed something? Curious if anyone has heard anything.
