My childhood home was 4701 Valencia Ave. Yorba Linda, CA. I had multiple frightening paranormal experiences growing up there, and am seeking answers. After moving out, my mother told me a story that the neighbors who babysat us (Tom and Jackie Harrison) had told her. They were the original owners of a house around the block from us, and they had lived in the home since the 1970’s and Tom was the police chief in the town of Yorba Linda back in the day. Jackie was walking the family dog around the block, when she passed in front of what would eventually be my childhood home, when she saw a police car out front. An officer who she knew personally came running out front and vomited all over the lawn. He was performing a welfare check on a man who hadn’t been seen in weeks. The man lived alone in the house, and had died, most likely from a heart attack. His body was found so decomposed into the floor and wall that the entire front part of that house had to be rebuilt, and the room he was found in turned out to be my bedroom. I had my bed shoved, I’ve seen an apparition laying sideways on the floor, and a black figure falling down next to my bed. I’d like to find out the name of the man that died, and put a name to the ghost that has haunted me. If anyone can help, I’d be extremely thankful. I’ll attach a photo of the home. It’s from the Zillow listing. I haven’t lived there for almost 10 years now, and I don’t have any pictures of my own. Thanks in advance!
