Thermostat features

Question for the group. I bought an ecobee thermostat a couple years ago (model EB-STATE6L-01) and it's been working fine but I'm starting to explore replacing it. I have all of the "eco" features turned off because with my line of work, we absolutely have no normal schedule or patterns, at all. So the learning "when we leave" and "when we get home", it would never work anyway.

But, one of the biggest frustrations I have with the thermostat is that I don't feel like I have real control of my system. I have a Lennox system that's a heat pump and a gas furnace with a variable speed fan. I have the thermostat set to run the fan constantly (selected to "on" during the sleep schedule) but I really feel like the fan isn't running until the furnace kicks on. When I go into the settings on the face of the thermostat and turn the fan mode to constant, it runs but feels like the air is barely coming out. It's definitely running but not fast at all.

The system at my previous house worked great for this. But, I had a thermostat that was the same brand as the system. So. Is it time to ditch the ecobee thermostat and get the latest and greatest from Lennox? I know Lennox is kind of a cheap brand but it was installed by previous owners so I didn't have a say and I'm not dropping 20-30K to replace a system that's 3 years old.

Any ideas? I've been moderately happy with ecobee but I feel like I'm not getting the most out of it.
