Lubber Pandhu - Genuine doubt. Manichu if this was discussed when the movie released. I watched it just recently. Hence this question
During the climax match - Harish Kalyan's would be mother-in-law arranges the engagement ceremony exactly at the time of the match, to test if he leaves the match for the sake of her daughter. He tries to re-schedule the match by speaking with the other team captain, and the other team captain refuses.
If you re-call, the only reason Harish Kalyan's team was allowed to join the league and play was - EGO. In fact, EGO has been the main driving factor in the whole movie until this point. Problems between Harish & Dinesh were due to Ego. Kaali Venkat being pushed out of his team, was due to ego & Kali venkat + Harish's team was able to play in the league only by kindling the other team's ego.
When the opponent captain did not accept to re-schedule, wouldn't it have been easier & made better sense in the movie, just by saying, "Of course, you know you will loose if I'm there in the match". This would have stirred up that guy's ego & match would have been rescheduled.
Right?
P.S - I do understand why the director went with the way the movie handled it, but while watching my mind seeing how Ego was used in the movie till now, automatically thought, this was how it's going to be handled.
