Please help me find an Ed Sheeran sounding piano song I heard on the school bus

So from what I remember it started off with the piano in a simple repeating tune, I know next to nothing about notes but I remember it sounding something akin to "nana nana nana nana nun" in its sound, then the male singer who my mind jumps to Ed sheeran but could realistically be any British love song kinda guy like him, sings some low talking lyrics. IDK any of them but it went along with the previously mentioned piano tune and it rhymed if I remember correctly, this all built up into a "drop" or however you would call it where he got louder and sang something like "in your eyyyyyyes, by your siiiiiiiide" and sounded like a romance or love song. Sorry if this was terrible for a description but it's been about a decade and my mind clings to the piano part so if I hear it I'll recognize it, but the lyrics are basically just my best guesswork, appreciate anyone who takes the time to try and help me find it.
