The Better Man Than Me
Quite Different to most others is how he does seem to be
Of any sense of false pretences he is one who is free
A man who knows of hard work a bricklayer by trade
On his artistic creations his talents by him are displayed
Not a member of any artistic club though as an artist quite well known
The title of true individual his sort can claim to own
In his tribal surroundings he does seem out of place
But the challenges life gives him he willingly embrace
He is one who does not lay claim to having many a friend
He lives true to his higher self and is not one to pretend
Of anything he is not his type of person rare
In a world where far too many of their own needs only aware
He loves the creatures of nature and every bush and tree
And with his natural surroundings he lives in harmony
If everyone were like him how great this world would be
I only can look up to the better man than me.
