Passed CSCP February 2026

I am beyond happy to have it over with. I bought the bundle a year ago, and I had to take my test today before it expired. I purchased the bundle assuming I could handle studying while caring for my newborn and starting a new full time job(yeah right-motherhood hit me HARD)

I did attempt to read the books over the last year but it was dry and tedious, and my brain was so exhausted that I don’t think I retained much information. I have a BS degree with no formal education regarding Supply Chain, and about 2 years of experience working for a distributor. This helped with some of the language but probably hurt just as much because it was difficult not to be biased when answering questions, based off personal experience.

I took 2 days off of work and crammed as much material into my brain as I could before the test. Out of all of the materials, the online learning system really was the most helpful. I recommend learning all of the terms using the flashcards and then reading the material online (it’s a condensed version of the textbooks). I further condensed the reading material using AI and then printed out summaries of each section, which was VERY helpful for last min review. I also used the CSCP learning channel on YouTube for review questions. His explanations for the practice exam questions really help you reframe your thought process for the exam questions. Pocketprep was convenient and helped me learn some of the terminology, but questions weren’t similar to exam questions. I found the flashcards to be better for this purpose, and If I did this all over again I don’t think I would use pocketprep.

The exam itself was difficult. The questions are shorter and more broad than the learning system questions, but they still require you to know the material well. Usually there were 2 answers that sound somewhat correct, and you choose which one is “better.” You have to know the concepts and terminology well enough to apply it situationally. There were not many easy definition questions and maybe 4 math based questions.
I was floored when I saw that I passed. I really wish I could say that it was easy & straightforward, and a couple days of studying is all you need. But I highly recommend NOT following in my footsteps. I’m convinced I passed in part due to sheer luck and decent critical thinking skills.
