SMP 300 power reserve

Hi guys. Wound my SMP 300 8800 caliber about 40 times. Had it about a month so it’s new. I let it sit and the power reserve ran about 46 hrs. Am I being picky or is there an extra step to get a more accurate test? Such as fully winding it then wearing it for a bit. Any suggestions help thanks!
