Drone warfare

Question for anyone that recently completed US Army infantry OSUT at Benning.

I spent 7yrs in the Infantry. Med discharge in 2020. During my brief career, I spent about 6 months in Ukraine (2016). Made a lot of friends over there, and have since followed the war very closely. I’m curious how the US Army is incorporating drone warfare into the training? Are they making any meaningful moves to make them available to company/platoon level elements, at a scale that would actually give us a competitive edge on the battlefield? I mean reports from Ukraine show both sides expending strike drones at a rate of 10k+/month… If I learned anything during my time in the army, it’s that they are slow af to acquire and field new equipment. Just curious if this threat is being taken seriously or if they’re once again dragging their feet on a threat that adapts and changes TTPs almost weekly.
