41F question about taking lamictal and estrogen for peri-menopause

41F I take 200mg of lamictal twice a day for depression. I’ve been experiencing symptoms of peri-menopause and am interested in addressing. I spoke with a doctor and he started me on .025 estradiol patch and 100mh progesterone. He also said to talk to my lamictal prescriber in case they want to adjust it.

I took birth control and lamictal before and don’t remember any issues. Will such a low dose patch affect it? What is the best way for a woman to take estrogen and lamictal?
