[MS] Am I being underpaid?

I am a 24 year old who works in HR at a major company in the southern USA.

I started at this company in 2024 while I was still in college as an HR intern (L&D) and was promoted to a full-time position towards the end of 2025.

My official title is Orientation Lead. I been worked in orientation since I begun my internship in 2024.

According to what I am paid on a weekly basis, I only will make $37,000 a year (I am a salaried employee). However, this is my first “career” type job. I am a level 1.

I only put 6% of my pay into my 401k and my dental insurance is like $6 a week.

My question is this. Am I being seriously underpaid? I could understand if I was an HR assistant, but my job entails a high level of creativity, collaboration, data analysis, etc.

If so, where should I go from here?
