The masked vampire

I don’t believe in cruelty. Not the dramatic kind, and not the subtle kind either. If something ends, let it end cleanly. If someone loved you, handle that with care. There’s nothing to gain from adding pain after the fact. Spreading hurt to protect ego or image just weakens the world a little more. I don’t step on what’s already wounded. I think the people who think they know you would be very surprised if they saw the real you.

I feel bad for those you'll set your claws into in the future. They'll never see it coming like I didn't. And you'll just move on from person to person, like you always have. It's a shame.
