prayer request

Hello,

could you please say a short prayer for me?

I’m currently facing a difficult situation at work. I’ve applied for a position at another company, and the new job is scheduled to start on July 1, 2026. Based on my understanding of my employment contract, I believed I had a four-month notice period, so I submitted my resignation two days ago. However, I was informed today that the notice period is actually five months due to a union agreement, which I wasn’t aware of.

Now management has to decide whether they will allow me to leave at the end of June or require me to stay for three additional months. Please pray that I will be able to leave my current job by the end of June.

I don’t know what to do. I’ve been looking for another job for two years, and now that I’ve finally found a position I truly want to pursue, I realize I may have made a mistake. I carefully read my contract and believed I had handled everything correctly, but apparently I misunderstood the situation.
