My OC Kota Seiji
Want to start with saying of mine so big thanks to him. Also this is my first post here so be gentle lmao.
This is my oç tor a Juk pathtinder game l am in and just my oc in general. Ive nad a really good time playing him and I just wanted to share some background on him mainly because I'm bored at the moment. Let me give a bit of background on his family! Since I wrote some lore for them. The Seiji family aren't one of the big sorcerer families renown for their power and influence. Or a family with an innate ability that only it can obtain. No instead they were renown for their ability to create cursed tools. They have a "standing" in the Jujutsu world as they provide and create tools for sorcerers and actively test and push the limits of what is possible. Many of them aren't sorcerers and simply just work with sorcerers but the few that are, are renowned for their masterfully crafted weapons and their ability to wield them. All be it with an exceptionally low amount of cursed energy.
So this characters name is Kota Seiji. He is a first year student at jujitsu high and he is currently classified as a grade three sorcerer. Kota has a heavenly restriction sort of similar to Maki or Tojis and he isn't I guess you could say "awakened" like Maki became or like Toil when we first saw him stuff like that. This is for a similar reason to Maki in the sense that he still has a bit of cursed energy however the reason he has this is different. He is "unique" in the sense that when he was born to about the age of 5 he was incredibly sick to the point of almost dying on multiple occasions. He was abnormally fast and strong but anytime he would overexert himself his illness would worsen. This is because his body physically cannot handle the full strength of his heavenly restriction and anytime he would as stated exert himself or "use" his unique body. It was almost like he was tearing himself and his body apart. To the point where his body began to breakdown on itself and he couldn't walk at one point. So in an act to save Kota; Nearly each member of his family made a binding vow with him to give him just enough cursed energy to maybe counteract the effects of his heavenly restriction so he could live all be it without the massive power he could have. And...It worked! Sorta. Kota still has a heavenly restriction and can't use any of the miniscule amount of cursed energy he has. But....He was able to keep living and actually become a sorcerer. His sickness is "suppressed" or at least that's what he and his family believe. Due to this Kota sorta has silent larger than life attitude as he thinks he can drop dead at any moment. He trains himself constantly not knowing the full extent of his ailment or what his family did for him but he is slowly growing strong enough to fully awaken and handle his heavenly restriction!
Cool little sidenote, the reason he has heterochromia is to represent the dual nature of his soul.
As for abilities he has what you'd expect from a heavenly restriction user with nothing super unique to him compared to Maki and Toji for example...Other than his cursed tool. Which I am working on the lore for but this is the basic stuff I had right now/worked with the dm on.
His cursed tool is called the Forsaken Blade. It is a weapon that is rumored to be from the Heian Era but it doesn't seem to match any of the weapons you'd expect from around then. It is a simple looking katana with nothing on the surface special about it other than its unique ability. The blade can absorb or rather "eat" cursed energy. At the moment this has only manifested in the fact that when it cuts something it doesn't steal cursed energy from it or begin to drain its target. Instead it eats it and grows slowly stronger from it with each thing it cuts and kills. Specifically at the moment it gets this from cutting a physical thing such as a curse or person with CE. I, and he are unaware at the moment if it can do more but it is getting stronger like he is! Its almost like a dog in nature and he can use it to "sense" cursed energy in the form of using it as a compass. If it detects and immense form of cursed energy it'll begin to pull him in the direction of it.
So there's a bit of backstory and lore on him! The party is really fun for reference. And they all have really cool cursed techniques so hes a nice mix in it. But outside of that I wanted to make a jjk oc for a long time and this is my first one!
